The Color Me Beautiful Color and Image Certification Training is designed for you, if you have had a desire to help other men and women look their very best with the right colors and styles in wardrobe and makeup. This training is more than the basic four seasons. It teaches the Color Alliance System of color analysis and the Signia style analysis.
As Executive Director and International Trainer for Color Me Beautiful, Jill Wylot, has developed this training course for CMB to be certified in the Color Alliance and Signia programs. With over 30 years of experience, she knows what it takes to build a successful business. She has trained hundreds of consultants through the years, both nationally and international.
The preferred method to train is to take the in-person three-day course. Jill also offers online training for those who just cannot travel.
Color Alliance - Color Analysis
With this training you can have the confidence of knowing you are working with the most individualized, professional color and image program available, which will give you the ability to be outstanding in your profession.
This exciting image course is filled to the brim from start to finish with in-depth teaching on the concepts.
In the Color Alliance System there are many tools to assist you in doing a color analysis. The core tool of the system is the set of color coordinates. Each coordinate has a numbered code.
You, the consultant, use the color coordinates to look at the hue, value, and chroma of your client's skin, hair, and eye color, judging the colors to choose the best overall representation of his/her coloring. The coordinate numbers are entered into the computer for the seasonal name, such as True Azure Summer (shown right).
The drapes show your client the "magic of color" in the harmony of his/her individualized seasonal colors. The system has four checks and balances that assist you in providing a more accurate analysis.

The first day of training you are thoroughly immersed in the concepts of this delightful system of color analysis. You will have hands-on experience working with your tools: the coordinates, hue and seasonal drapes, along with the Color Alliance Guide for the descriptions of the seasonal names. It exciting to see how the colors of the coordinates emulate your client's coloring and guide you into the selection of his/her best seasonal name/lifestyle color Palette.
Outside Line: Three Body Types
Signia Silhouette Analysis
We have an exciting, computerized system of silhouette/figure analysis called Signia.
In class, you will be your own client, as you learn how to take measurements and identify face shapes. You will learn about the Signia portfolio, a book written to you about you and your image. You will be able to order your own portfolio and discover information for your face shape, body silhouette and body challenges.
There are three concepts that Signia has been built on: Outside Line, Inside line and Body Proportion. For the outside line, we us the terms for the different body silhouettes: Linear, Curvilinear and and Curved. You will learn how to look at the outside line of a garment and know which body silhouette it will flatter. (see diagram left)
Another clientele you can tap into is the men's market for color and Signia. You will learn how to identify the face shape and take measurements to determine the body silhouette for men.
Inside Line: Face Shape Examples
Signia works with 10 different face shapes.
Five have contour and five angles. The concept of mimic and balance of the inside line of the neckline or shape of patterns will be exciting to see and teach. (see diagram above)

Marketing & Compensation Plan
Marketing is a key component to a successful business. We will identify the top ways to promote image consulting. These include presentations, newsletters, catalogs, referrals, etc.
Customer service is a vital part to a solid foundation for business. Guidelines will be given on client care, so you learn to treat your clients like gold.
We have three ways to earn money: services (color and style consultations), sales and sponsoring. More details here on page 9.
